Steve’s Story – Rough Sleeping, Heroin & Alcohol

In April 2009 Steve agreed to participate in an interview which was subsequently broadcast on BBC Radio Wiltshire.

Steve was 32 at the time and had been sleeping rough in Chippenham for 3 years.

He was also addicted to heroin and dependent on alcohol.

He gives a brutally honest account on the circumstances leading to his homelessness – childhood, prison, physical and mental health, drugs and alcohol.

Steve’s interview opens in Windows Media Player and can be found on the Doorway website
